DERMAPLANING

Dermaplaning is a gentle yet effective treatment that exfoliates the epidermis of keratinised skin cells and removes any facial vellus hair (peach fuzz). 

Vellus hair can contribute to the build up of oils and debris in the follicles resulting in breakouts, particularly acne. The exfoliation treatment promotes cellular renewal improving skin texture, brightening of the skin, makeup application and increasing product absorption for your everyday skincare. 

Dermaplaning can also improve:

This treatment is ideal for those wanting to get the most out of procedures such as chemical peels, microneedling, microdermabrasion, laser treatment or LED light therapy; removing the top dead layers of the skin first allows optimum results for revitalisation. 

During pregnancy and breastfeeding women are limited to treatments available to them, but this deep exfoliation is the perfect opportunity to relax and do something for you!

Dermaplaning is not a suitable treatment for those with active acne.
